Originally from Miami, Florida, I attended Beloit College as a student-athlete in football and graduated in 2020 with a Political Science degree. After living through four frigid Wisconsin winters, I moved to New Orleans where I attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
At Loyola, I was a member of the Moot Court program, Sports and Entertainment Law Society, Hispanic Law Society, and the Law Clinic. In Moot Court, I competed as a brief writer and oralist on the Mardi Gras Team in the Annual Tulane Mardi Gras Invitational Appellate Sports Law Competition where my team and I finished semi-finalists amongst law schools across the nation. I also had the pleasure of serving on the Moot Court Executive Board as the Intramural and Selection Chair.
In the Loyola Law Clinic, I served as a Rule XX Student Practitioner in the Criminal Defense section where I represented my first client for several charges, including attempted first-degree murder. In May 2023, I graduated from Loyola and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers for my exceptional skills in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.
Hungry to be a litigator, I clerked for the Hon. Judge Nandi F. Campbell in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, Section “G”. There, I was exposed to all phases of litigation and aspects of trial from start to finish. My biggest takeaway from Judge Campbell was learning how a judge operates, contemplates, and rules on motions and in trial.
As a current litigation attorney within the personal injury division at Scott Vicknair, L.L.C, I have harnessed my foundational past experiences to zealously advocate on behalf of my clients. I’ve learned to approach each and every case with a fine-tooth-comb because the smallest stone left unturned may very well be the difference between a “win” or “loss” at trial. As a result, I’ve settled numerous motor vehicle accident, premise liability, wrongful death, and first-party property claims that have resulted in satisfied clients.
I am licensed in Louisiana and admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts. When I am not fighting for the win on behalf of my clients, you can find me on the golf course or at home with my English Bulldog – Cooper! I also enjoy fishing and spending time with loved ones.
