I am originally from St. Francisville, Louisiana, a small town where people treat one another like family and community is deeply valued. That upbringing shaped the way I view client relationships and is one of the reasons I enjoy working at Scott Vicknair. The firm’s culture reflects that same sense of care, compassion, and personal attention, especially when helping clients through what is often one of the most difficult times in their lives.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, with a minor in Business, from Louisiana State University before attending Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. My educational background helped me develop strong communication, research, and writing skills, which I have continued to build on through my legal experience. During law school and after graduation, I gained experience in civil litigation, personal injury, successions, and criminal court proceedings through my work as a law clerk, judicial extern, and legal research assistant. These experiences gave me the opportunity to assist with legal research, draft memoranda and briefs, analyze case materials, and observe different stages of litigation and courtroom proceedings.
At Scott Vicknair, I value the opportunity to be part of a team that truly cares about its clients and their experience throughout the legal process. I enjoy helping clients feel heard, supported, and informed from the very beginning.
When I’m not working, I enjoy going on walks, fishing, and listening to live music.
