My practice is primarily focused on estate and probate litigation as well as wrongful death litigation. My team and I represent families and clients throughout the country and even internationally with legal matters in courts throughout Louisiana. We handle a wide range of estate matters for our clients. From the simple transfer of assets from a parent to their kids to multimillion-dollar estate battles over rights of inheritance, we have handled it and everything in between.

I had a very unique experience growing up. I was born and raised in a small community in south Louisiana in a neighborhood in which I was related to almost everyone. My great grandparents and grandparents lived down the street and my aunts, uncles, and cousins all lived there as well. I had a big family and we have now had five generations of my family grow up in that neighborhood. Family, both immediate and extended, was very important and I was surrounded by it in my childhood. I believe it is this experience that has guided my law practice into handling estate and probate matters and helping families pass their legacies and estates from one generation to the next.

As a native of Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, I graduated from Central Lafourche High School in Matthews, Louisiana, and went on to attend Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After working as a licensed stockbroker for a few years, I attended law school at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and obtained a Juris Doctorate in Law. I am licensed for the practice of law in the State of Louisiana, and I am admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana.

Now entering my third decade in the practice of law, I have had the opportunity to develop experience in many different legal fields including collections and foreclosures, business law, construction law, property disputes, banking law, personal injury matters, and many more. This wide range of experience has become invaluable to me when assisting my clients with estate matters. It is very common for issues to arise while handling an estate that involves these other practice areas and I can draw on my prior knowledge and experience to find cost-effective solutions for my client’s legal issues.

When I am not at the office helping clients with their legal matters, I am probably at home spending time with my family and telling dad jokes and embarrassing my not-so-amused three daughters. If you would like to discuss my firm representing you, give us a call and we can connect to see if our services can assist you today.
