Growing up in south Louisiana, I developed an appreciation for hard work, dedication, good food, and football: values that have stayed with me throughout my life. My love for football took me to Beloit College in southern Wisconsin, where I was a student-athlete and team captain. After two years in the cold Midwest, my love for food brought me back home, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Louisiana State University in 2021.
Following graduation, I enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where I earned my Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship. During law school, I was an active member of the Loyola Maritime Journal, where I received the “Best Casenote” Award for my publication McCluskey El v. Celebrity Cruises, Inc., and authored a forthcoming article The Space Race to Uniformity: The Intersection of Patent Law and Space Law. My work and commitment to the Journal later to led to my selection as a Managing Editor.Throughout law school, I sought every opportunity to gain practical experience, clerking with a district attorney’s office and several prominent Louisiana law firms practicing insurance defense, maritime law, and personal injury. These experiences not only deepened my understanding of the law but also instilled in me a lasting appreciation for client advocacy and pursuing justice.
Today, I bring that same work ethic and dedication to my attorney role with Scott Vicknair, where I am proud to be part of a team that truly cares about the well-being of its clients. Within the personal injury division, I strive to uphold and build upon the precedence of excellence that Scott Vicknair has established, working tirelessly to help our clients recover physically, emotionally, and financially after life-changing events.
Outside of the office, I try to stay grounded and connected to the things that have always meant the most to me. This typically includes spending time with family and friends, playing golf, attending and/or watching LSU football games, trying new foods, and traveling. These activities allow me to recharge and give me the necessary perspective that I bring to work each day.
