Today we’re excited to introduce you to another member of the Scott Vicknair team because he’s a living testament to the opportunity that is the American Dream. Anton Martynenko is an attorney who calls Louisiana home like all of us, but his story is vastly different.

Anton grew up in the former USSR and had a rare opportunity to move to the US as an exchange student. Less than a decade later, he was accepted to Tulane Law School. We wanted to give him the chance to tell his story and reflect on the things he has learned during this incredible journey.

With Russia in the news quite a bit recently, it’s very insightful to hear about life in the American justice system compared to what his family and friends have faced back in his home country. He also has the unique perspective of having family in Ukraine as well and sheds some light on how difficult that’s been on people in both countries.
